Thank you! But I very much am fat, not that that's a bad thing! Last I checked, my weight had nothing to do with how good my bj are ;)

Your new icon has a **beautiful belly**! In my brain, it's not "fat," just, well, normal, except shaped in a very attractive way. Minus the text it's a lovely image. The text is a bit difficult to read, but were it large enough or bolder the woman would be too obscured.

[Please note that I am an artist, when I had a brain studied art history in which most women painted or sculpted were quite curvy, enjoy women just as much as men (sometimes more depending on my mood), and view today's standards for thin and fat as 100% absurd.]

Yesterday I saw a preview for "Funny People" on tv and it did intrigue me. I'll look it up online later today when I have a better attention span.

Heh... my ego's not on the line here. I stole the icon...

The scene from Funny People that I liked was the scene in the doctors office where they totally gloss over the bad health news to concentrate on the doctor's thick Norwegian accent. "I bought some furniture from you guys..."

Gallows humor like that so appeals....

Yeah, still haven't looked up more info on "Funny People" yet. Having motivational problems the last few days. It'll pass.

My response had nothing to do with your ego, was just expressing my own opinion. And I flat-out wanted to say that the current view of "fat" is utterly absurd. I'm thin, skinny people think I'm thin. When I unexpectedly lost a lost of weight I actually lost a lot of confidence in my body for several months because it wasn't curvy anymore - like how *I* think a woman looks good. My own ego was probably in there somewhere, but also my complete disdain of our current society's view of a woman who starves herself until she looks like a teenage boy, who then gets a boob job to have fake tits, who THEN needs a lot of therapy in order to have a healthy view of food. FOOD for fucks sake! Yup, absurd.

Strong opinion? Why do you ask? ;)

(I'll drop this, as I don't actually want to have a loooong discussion, and actually rambled a bit too long about it already. Oops, sorry.)

It's all good. I like what you've expressed here. You've put it very well, and I'm going to steal it for future use.

I lost weight suddenly and was praised for it, but the punch line is I lost weight because I was dying from Addison's disease. My friend, who was also super skinny with me at my 10 year reunion, was also thin because she was dying of gall stones.

Yes, the current view of "fat" is utterly absurd.

And I love your strong opinion. ^_^

"And I love your strong opinion."

It's a good thing you do. :) Feel free to use whatever I said if you have the same opinion, and I'm sure you do.

Let me guess, you and your other sick-but-thin friend were praised at your reunion? Ghastly. So glad you didn't die! And I hope your friend made it. Damnable strong women pushing through death's door trying to have a little fun. You sound like an honorary Texan.

I wasn't sick, but still had a real hard time with people "congratulating" me for my weight loss because I felt unattractive and just faked through it to get by until I had a good body image again. Benefit: with some clothes I don't have to wear a bra - that's pretty groovy.

We were envied, yeah... when she got her gall bladder removed, she got better. I wasn't as lucky, but I didn't die!

Honorary Texan, I *love* it!

And I wish I could go without a bra. That was the best part about being thin. But otherwise, I *rock* these curves!!!

Thank you for being such an awesome friend...
